I’ve always been around dogs and love the idea of one day being a Veterinarian or Vet Tech! I believe that my ability to work well with others, with dogs, and also being hardworking is going to go far.
What I love most about my job:
I love the environment I am in, I love being able to wake up every day and come into work to take care of dogs and be surrounded by positivity while also taking care of all the different dogs that come to play.

I love socializing with different people that I meet. People also tend to call me the “Dog Whisperer”! I work at Pawsabilities when I am not at Fetchers making dog treats and toys. I was on the swim team at Shawnee Mission North while in high school and played 7 sports in the Special Olympics. I also love spending time with my family and anything Star Wars and Marvel!
What I love most about my job:
I like working at Fetchers because I do love dogs, but I also like being able to help. I like to help clean up, get dogs’ suites ready for the night and get their food ready too. I really like my coworkers too. Everyone is really nice and helpful.

I have previous experience working with shy and nervous dogs; I’m usually able to get them to warm up but also understand how to read their moods on any given day. I used to play and watch dogs on my uncle’s farm growing up. I enjoy being around them and working with their energy.
What I love most about my job:
I enjoy seeing every dogs’ personality. Some are shy, some are very hyper. I enjoy working with the dogs and giving them the attention they need and deserve.

This is my first job working with animals in this type of environment but I do have experience dog sitting for neighbors. I enjoy working on calming dogs down while in the yard and bringing my positive energy to work every day. I will always put in 110% with these dogs!
What I love most about my job:
I love feeling like I’m not just another employee, like at a chain business. I love that people share common interests of caring for dogs and love getting to go home with fun stories.

I have past experience working as a volunteer in different shelters around the Kansas City area. I am also a part of the Geoscience Academy where we care for salt and freshwater fish, turtles, shrimp, and other organisms. I have also become a certified scuba diver. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling, attending concerts, and bookstores, and going on nature walks.
What I love most about my job:
I have always loved being around animals. We have always had pets growing up and when I was younger I also would take horse riding lessons. I love working with the dogs all while learning all of their fun personality traits.

I love working in the pet care industry and dogs specifically. I used to show dogs competitively and have also taught training classes for dogs. I am also an active member of 4-H.
What I love most about my job:
I have always loved working with dogs of all sorts and being able to learn to handle just about every scenario. I think this will be a great experience for future careers too. I want to continue always working with animals. I also enjoy working with the people here and learning new things!

I have past experience dog sitting for family and friends but this is my first job in a daycare environment! I love taking care of animals and also cleaning up after them because it is very important they have a clean environment as well.
What I love most about my job:
I currently attend Olathe South High school and play softball. I also have a hamster that I tend to when I am not at school or work!

I have attended school for Vet Tech and have years of experience with medical terms, medications, and basic vet care/dog-related training. I have a son named Quinton and I like spending most of my time outside of work playing with him and watching him grow.
What I love most about my job:
I love my coworkers and clients. I love how loving the dogs are even on your worst days. I love maintaining a healthy work environment for peoples’ dogs.

I have been a kennel assistant at other locations and have been around dogs my whole life. I love to play with the different dogs that I meet and am also good at cleaning tasks as well as cleaning up after the dogs. When I am not at work, I enjoy gaming and reading. I also like to work with clay sculpting.
What I love most about my job:
I love playing with all of the dogs and doing enrichment activities with them. My favorite is snuggle time. I also like keeping the dishes picked up and washed. Learning about the dogs’ different personalities is also challenging as well as rewarding.

I have grown up with animals my whole life so I am very comfortable around dogs. I also dog sit for friends and family frequently. I love doing sports during my downtime and spending time with friends!
What I love most about my job:
I love working at Fetchers! I like getting to know all of the dogs and meeting new people. I enjoy learning about different dog personalities and helping them grow and interact.

I have previous experience as a volunteer with different shelters in the Kansas City area and love working with all of the animals and helping to understand them better. I pay close attention to detail which is very important in a role like this! When I am not working I love spending time with family.
What I love most about my job:
I have always been an animal lover! I think working here is fun because of all of the interaction with the dogs and learning their different traits!

I’ve worked in the animal industry for a while and also received my degree in Animal Nutrition & Animal Science. I enjoy working closely in a team setting and like to spend time with family when I am not working.
What I love most about my job:
I love getting to know all of the dogs and all of their cute and different personalities! They are so happy when they come to visit us and I enjoy spending time with all of them. The team works well together and I enjoy being around other animal lovers.

I enjoy working with animals and feel I have a distinct read on them so I know how to handle and take care of them. I also have my own fair share of animals at home including my own dog along with other reptiles. When I am not here or at school, I enjoy hiking in the woods and hanging with my own animals.
What I love most about my job:
I love this job more than any other job I’ve ever had. I just love being around animals and this job gives me the opportunity to do so. My coworkers are so nice and helpful making it an easy and fun place to come to work!

I am attending K-State and my most recent job was as a community assistant in the dorms. I love working with animals and even though I do not own any dogs at the moment, I have had 2 hermit crabs in the past. I love to draw and sew during my downtime. I also come from a family of 8 brothers and sisters!
What I love most about my job:
I love the environment and how nice and welcoming everyone is here and is easy to work alongside. I enjoy working with the dogs on the regular and learning about all of their different behaviors and mannerisms.
